The Land at the End of our Toes, goes on and on, on and on.

If you could relive one day from your past, which day would it be and why?

There are so many days in my life that I treasure. So many days I wish I could keep in my memory forever, untarnished and unaltered.

Unfortunately, I am cursed with poor memory, and the harder I try to remember certain days, they slip further away. An affliction I am not sure is shared by all of us, or I have a particularly bad version of amnesia.

Anyway, back to the question. Yes, there is a day from my past I’d love to live again, exactly as it way.

August, 2013, in a field in England. Myself and some friends camped alongside thousands of others. It’s Sunday, the last day of Reading festival and we were waiting for the final act. The sun was lowering in the sky, the anticipation was building, along with my mixed intoxication.

Then came Biffy Clyro.

Three Scots.

With lyrics from the Gods and a performance choreography from the Devil.

This was the last day I felt both the freedom of childhood, and the mature emotions of coming of age.

I have that memory stored away in a safe, only bringing light to it on occasions that grant me euphoria.

Damn it was so great to feel free.
