This year has been a catastrophic failure for Uncharted Thoughts, a devastating blow to viewership, subscriptions and the community I wanted to build. I have no one to blame but myself and I apologies to readers from across the world for my lack of commitment to the cause.

It has been a heavy year for me, and my excuses lie within the details of everyday life. We are looking a record low in the stats and I am determined to not allow this failure to continue to the end of the year.

What we have here is a classic example of neglect and laziness. This platform is for everyday reads, as well as an attempt to create a space for me to grow a business idea, and if I continue to preform as I have this year, the dream will fade to black in due course.

The dream is awake, stumbling and fragile, but very much alive. I have a dream to publish long form travel journalism in books decorated with phenomenal photography. Something to be read, kept and treasured, a masterclass of both the written word and of a physical connection to the places and people I talk to.

Next year I plan on honing in my photography skills, planning in depth the books chapters and the locations I need to visit. The following year comes sponsorships, connecting with interviewees, charities and of course navigating publishers. 2028/29 is the travel, 6-8 months of travel, interviewing, photographing, writing, and investing in the project outside of planning. end of 2029, beginning of 30, publication and print.
