Uncharted Thoughts.

I am new to Andrew Gold and for those of you who don’t know who he is, he’s a Podcast Youtuber that debates people on his weekly show Heretics.

After a night on the lash and a quick hiking in the Scottish highlands, I decided to sit down and watch some political discourse between Andrew and ‘Britain’s Biggest RAC*ST’, a man named Steve Laws.

Usually, debates have two sides that are somewhat equally compelling to me and as centre libertarian it is my job to shift through the debate and find my stance. Most of you will also find, as my political alignment suggests, I battle it out with the details and land on a middle ground.

Todays podcast though, I found myself without hesitation on the side of Andrew Gold.

The debate.

The debate is simple. Steve Laws positions himself on a hill, and fortifies it with plastic shields. While Andrew batters it with canon fire and heavy infantry.

Steve believes that all immigrants should leave the UK. No matter the person, no matter the circumstances, no matter how long they have lived here. He suggests that the country should be populated by a single ethnicity, and that ethnicity for Britain is Anglo-Saxon.

Andrew Gold, believes in a country that is a majority British, although he is unable to determine what exactly that is, and suggests that migration should be kept to a reasonable amount.

That’s the set up. Although the interview takes many twists and turns.

My take on the interview.

Steve is a racist, and although that word have very little meaning anymore due to the left oversaturating its use for people who don’t like Islam, or people that don’t conform to open boarders. Steve is, inherently the definition of a racist. So, right off the bat, I am miles away from his position. I do not see race as a contributing factor of a persons character, culture is without a doubt, but how much UV light your ancestors are exposed too has 0 impact of a persons character… this should go without saying.

Steve’s argument of an ethno-state is impossible. It is as impossible as the Nazi’s Third Reich, the final solution and the holocaust.

Firstly, what is an English person. According to Steve its an Anglo-Saxon, or person from a Celtic background. Well that in itself is complicated. Celtic people where there before the Anglo-Saxons, they were pushed into Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Cornwall by the Anglos and were again removed from their homeland by the Romans, and then the Normans, and so on.

So we have arrives at the very foundation of Steve’s ideology and found out his hill is made from wet, unstable mud.

Let’s go on a little further with this, because I was really trying to find something in Steve’s ideology that I could get a foothold in and begin to understand the logistics of this grand plan.

So, he determines that an English person is Anglo, okay, lets move past the Celtic part and pretend that the Anglos didn’t invade the Celts sometime in 400AD.

What about the Normans, they invaded in 1066, what about the Romans? they invaded before the Anglos? Where there people in Britain before the Celts? Who did they replace? Where does this end and begin?

According to Steve, it ends with Celts and Anglo-Saxons. But why? Because that’s what he is? Why not the Normans as well? Or is that too soon?

It’s bad foundations to a plan that plans to reshape the entirety of England.

Steve suggests he is 98% English, and 2% Irish, and although this is possible. I highly, highly doubt it, and if so, I expect his views are derived from hundreds of years of interbreeding and it explains a lot about him.

Now, I agree there is too much migration in the UK, that our birthrates are low, cost of living is too high and migrants will soon be the majority in a country that’s population is swindling, but mass deportation of anyone with a different colour skin, or ancestry is ludicrous.

Lets consider this, I got my DNA done three or four years ago and these are the results.

• 46% Gaelic / Celtic.
• 32% Germanic
• 11% Iberian
• 11% Scandinavian

So according to Steve I am not English. Even though myself and the last four generations of my family have lived in the same part of England, and that’s just the ones I know about, I am sure most of my family have lived in the South West for the last 4-500 hundred years.

Where do I go?

Do I get sent to Scotland to live? To Cornwall? Will Cornwall become it’s own country? Do I go to Wales? or do I go further abroad? To Sweden or Spain? How will Steve and his political party find out my DNA? How will they find out the ethnicity of 68.48 million people? And how will they enforce this great remigration? Apparently without violence, according to Steve. But I don’t see millions of people leaving their homeland without kicking up a fuss to be honest.

Perhaps three hundred years ago this dream would have been more realistic, but the UK is a melting pot of ethnicities and cultures, there is no going back.

Steve then goes on to say that he would look back four generations, and that’s how he would determine who’s English and who isn’t. This change of heart proves to be even more logistically impossible.

Four generations is roughly 120 years ago. There were plenty of Black, Asian, and other Europeans in the UK at that time. 1900 was predominantly white, but there were Germans, French, Italians, Irish, Norwegians, Polish, Russians, Gypsee’s and Spanish people all over Britain. If they can stay under Steve’s ideology, his dream is compromised from the beginning, and the ‘pure blood’ he has such a hard on for will be diluted into these other ethnicities.

I’m a purest when it comes to atheism. I’ll admit it, if I could click my fingers together tomorrow to rid this world of all religion, I’d struggle to avoid the temptation. But, I also believe in free will, freedom of speech, freedom of expression and so many aspects of humanism, I think to do so would be an authoritarian choice and that is inherently evil. So, I’d like to think I’d pass on the finger clicking.

The reason I mention this, is because I think we are all tempted by radicle ideologies from time to time. We all think we know a way to make the world a better place. But these ideas need to be challenged, not only by the opposition but with ones own soul.

I pray, the people that agree with Steve are in the minority, actually, I pray there are maybe 2 others in the UK that side with him. But the truth is, I think there could be hundreds and thousands that agree, and this needs to be challenged.

Andrew Gold

Andrew has Jewish ancestry, something that seemed to get Steve Laws literally vibrating with anger. This was a major point on contention, as Andrew considers himself English (which he is), whereas Steve considers him a Jew (which I guess means he is Israeli?).

The debate was wildly in Andrews court, in my opinion Andrew brought the facts, the statistics and conveyed his opinion with professionalism and with clear, simple debate tactics.

He’d ask Steve his opinion, let him develop it, and then crush it with statistics and facts, and with a slice of reality. It was like watching a amateur chess player battle someone who has only played chequers.

It’s not that Andrew was particularly phenomenal with his takedowns, he just used common sense and the London opening against a man who clearly has surface level understanding of his own political views and little to no understanding of the world around him.

Where I feel Andrew was particularly effective was in his approach to Steve’s deportation mission. Steve claims he would deport millions of people from across the country, starting with illegals, then criminals, then Jewish people in high levels of authority, then slowly everyone else.

Andrew highlight how this just isn’t possible without violence and civil war, and that the average British person just wouldn’t stand for this authoritarianism. How it is, in its nature anti-British.

He also manages to crush Steve in regards to ethnic separation. How will Steve find those that hide among the white Anglos? It’s another impossible task. He took the late great Christopher Hitchens as an example of this. Hitchens didn’t uncover his Jewish heritage until he was in his fifties. How will Steve uncover those that hide, not intentionally, among the sea of white faces?

There are areas I think Andrew could have pressed further on, or perhaps challenged Steve on.

Firstly, while we understand that Steve is clearly mentally challenged to believe that a mass deportation of million of people is impossible. What does Steve think about religion? Is it just ethnicity he cares about? Or does everyone have to be pagan? because Christianity is not in anyway Saxon. It’s form the middle east. What do we do with all the Catholics? And the Protestants? Who I imagine make up the majority of his fan base.

Secondly, Steve swears he is a man of peace. But, does he expect all of us to get up and leave without fighting back? Because we will. I say we, but yes, I will fight against this with the intent to kill, I would with any authoritarian rule. This is something I think Andrew could have expanded on.

Finally, tourism, infostructure, trade, geopolitics and countless other elements of a countries everyday mechanics involve international cooperation. How would Steve run the country once his fantasy has been realised? Will it be just like North Korea?

Conclusion.

Steve is the product of ideocracy and racism. His arguments were poorly put forwards and reeked of hatred and the cried of future generations to come. While the political spectrum moves further into the more extreme, these are the ideologies that are surfacing from the woodwork.

While I blame the neo-liberalism of the world for most things, I also blame them for the rise of Steve and whatever other racist groups operate in the United Kingdom at this time.

Pushing into neo-liberalism has allowed the right to grow far faster, far stronger than ever before. Because pushing one side and isolating all forms of discourse, is the best way to push people into the right. The neo liberalism and it’s gatekeeping, has put it under siege form everyone else.

I am shocked, and horrified that this is what Britain has produced. That we have allowed neo-liberalism to go so far, it’s pushed people into extremism on the right. Britain is not going to be an authoritarian state, migrants will always have a place in out society (though the number do need to shrink), and I’d rather see this nation burn in civil war than to see it ruled over by a racist, authoritarian inbred like Steve.

I pray this man is a grifter, just like Mohammad Hijab, or Ali Dawah. Unfortunately, while watching this video, I think this man will be the front of a new radical movement that has the genuine potential for destruction.

I like to think that the UK still has its integrity, though, through what I have seen the last five years, I fear I am wrong.
