It has not yet been two years since my first ever blog on Uncharted Thoughts, and we have arrived at another milestone of viewership.
Of course, this is a slow moving project. Although I was initially expecting to have reached this sometime last year, I am so proud of what is being built here.
This started as a rag tag blog of bad spelling and grammar, and its arrived in May 2025 as a rag tag blog of better spelling and okay grammar.
It has also changed, from a poorly structures list of articles, to a brand new, well organised blog with purpose.
No longer am I shooting wildly in the wind with my blog posts. Aiming at everything but hitting nothing. My blog is a travel blog, with a little spice in its archives.
There is still a lot to build on, and I hope to always be building on it to some extent. Refine, refine, refine. I’d like to try and hit 50 subscribers by the end of the year. I’d like the quality of my news letters to continue and to be released on time. I’d like to open up communication with my audience, to create a community and conversation. I’d also like a Logo, one that will be printed on the books I hope to sell in years to come.
In my life, I have given up on so many projects, but this blog seems to remain a constant, and although there have been some periods of radio silence, I have enjoyed every moment of it.
I want to say a big thank you to Keith @overthehillanddale. He was my first ever subscriber, and has been liking my content since its conception. I hope to continue making content you enjoy.
Uncharted Thoughts is more than just a travel blog, its a growing empire that started in my parents house 18ish months ago. I have visions of it going further and further and ending up with some quality content I think you as readers deserve.
I am looking to monetise this website sometime early next year. I will try and keep it ad free for as long as possible, but unfortunately I do want to start making money from this and growing the Uncharted Thoughts brand.
I want to start writing travel books by the end of next year. I want to produce fine quality photographs to go in them, and tell the stories of men, woman and children from the far reaches of the planet. Because the earth is a paradise without us no doubt, but the earth is unique and special because of the people that live in it.
So once again, please subscribe, like and comment. And thank you for your readership.
