A change is coming.

Me in Nepal, ABC. 2018

I have some news for all my readers. Some of you have probably noticed that the design of my website has changed a little. Well, it was a mistake, and one I have been unable to reverse quite yet. Anyhow, I was attempting to recreate my site, and in doing so managed to make some terrible design mistakes and have landed myself here.

Why was I trying to change the site in the first place? Well, I have decided to take the leap of faith and begin travel blogging.

I have been researching how to build audiences, how to navigate traffic and how to make some money off adds.

Turns out it is way more complex than I have ever anticipated and there is a high chance it may never work out. However, I am going to try anyway. So, after doing the research and coming up with a game plan, I decided to mess around a little with the website design. In doing so, I have managed to end up with this rubbish.

What is the big news?

Well, the big news is that I will, as of May this year, no longer be focusing on social, political, religious, debate, scientific, philosophical or random blog posts. Instead I will be focusing on travel advice and travel posts.

I love doing random write ups, and I promise you there will be more to read, just not on this site. I will move my chaotic writing into a new blog site for all those that love to read what I have to say. However, Uncharted Thoughts will go on to be a travel blog. One I hope you will continue to support and read and enjoy.

You see, all my life I have lived at quarter potential. Having jobs that don’t respect my ambition or having jobs that just are not catered to my mindset. Kitchens, pubs, hotels and building have not worked out for me.

Only upon meeting my new partner and starting my new career in journalism have I realised that I need to be able to artistically, express myself and to live outside of a ordinary job. I want to work for myself, to work with people that are as enthusiastic as I am about subject such as travel. I have a business plan already and the drive to do it.

So, although you have an additional 5 months of chit chat on this blog site before it turns into something more professional and travel orientated. I just want to say a massive thank you to all my readers. I have had an absolute blast with this blog and I am looking forward to continuing it under a new brand, and I hope you continue to enjoy my content.

With over 2200 views last year, from over 30 countries, I can’t be more proud of what I have managed to accomplish in such a short amount of time.

On wards and upwards and keep questioning!
